Our Team

Mr. Sabir Manteen has over 35 years of experience in the fields of business, law, real estate development and financial planning.  He received his Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters in Education Administration from Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. In addition, he received an MBA from Wagner College, Staten Island, a Juris Doctor (JD) of Law from the City University of New York at Queens College and a Management Development Certificate from Cornell University.

Sabir is a former Assistant Professor of Business Law at Hofstra University and he also served as the Assistant Dean and Interim Executive Director of the historical NOAH Program. In addition, he worked as the Assistant to the CEO and County Youth Program Director for the Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County. He is the past president of the Wyandanch School Board and founding member of the Wyandanch Progressive Civic Association. Upon relocating to Maryland, Sabir worked as a general partner and project manager of a construction company in Bowie specializing in land acquisition and site development.

In 2003, Sabir founded Minkah Homes LLC, a private real estate firm specializing in the construction of luxury multi-million-dollar homes in southern Maryland.  He is a member of the Coalition for Change, American Real Estate School, IGSHP Association, North American Technician of Excellence, Inc., Building Trades Associations, Associated Builders and Contractors and the National Association of Home Builders.

After 6 years as a top-performing mortgage loan originator in the DMV, Sabir became a mortgage broker and founded Minkah Financial Services LLC in 2020. Minkah Financial Services LLC is a mortgage brokerage currently operating in Maryland and will soon be operating in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Sabir founded Minkah Financial Services LLC in order to leverage on the mortgage opportunities unavailable to the average middle to low-income clients in the DMV region. Sabir takes pride in every single thing he does and works tirelessly to provide outstanding service to any client he serves. He is a people person and for his entire life he has always strived to help others in any way that he can.

Sabir has been married for 31 years and has 4 children. Other than spending quality time with family and friends, his free time is spent traveling, playing basketball, doing home improvements and maintaining his real estate properties.
